The Weeknd is apparently "Six Feet Under."A week after announcing plans to rid himself of the famous stage name, Abel Tesfaye has begun using his birth name on social media. While his Instagram and Twitter handles still say The Weeknd, he has Abel Tesfaye prominently typed out as the display name. Male Bicyclist Dead after Two-Vehicle Collision near Interstate 80SPARKS, NV (May 16, 2023) – Thursday afternoon, a bicycle and vehicle crash on Prater Way claimed the life of Lewis Leonard.The accident took place near the onramp to eastbound Interstate 80 around 5:00 p.m. on April 27th.According to the State Patrol, a bicyclist was traveling eastbound on Prater Way when it failed to stop at a red light and went into the path of a white Volkswagen Atlas SUV was traveling westbound on Prater Way turning left onto the I-80 eastbound on-ramp.The driver of the SUV did not have enough time to stop and crashed into the left side of the bicycle which ejected the rider from the bicycle.Paramedics arrived and rushed the bicyclist to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. OAKLAND – A 15-month-old child and their nanny were injured in an attempted armed robbery in the Trestle Glen neighborhood on Tuesday morning, authorities said.The violence happened about 10:52 a.m. in the 800 block of Trestle Glen Road, in an affluent neighborhood above Lakeshore Avenue.Initial reports were that the woman was pushing the child in a stroller on a sidewalk when a vehicle stopped and a male got out and attempted to rob the woman. SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A man who fell off Torpedo Pier on Tuesday morning and became submerged has been rescued, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. The man was collecting cans shortly after 10 a.m. Tuesday on the pier when he fell off and went under. Witnesses said the man struggled to stay afloat and quickly went under, according to SFFD. Elon Musk blames ‘woke mind virus’ for downtown San Francisco’s woes Divers and rescue boats were deployed to try and locate him. The divers located the individual an estimated 16 feet down just off the pier. He received immediate lifesaving treatment from firefighters and paramedics, according to SFFD Capt. Jonathon Baxter.
