The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado has charged a Castle Rock man, 18, who allegedly intended to join the Islamic State (ISIS).Davin Daniel Meyer, 18, was arrested as he attempted to board an international flight at Denver International Airport (DIA) Friday, the agency said in its release.Meyer allegedly pledged an oath of allegiance to the leader of ISIS and intended to serve as a fighter for ISIS in Iraq, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.Meyer was charged with attempting to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization. Authorities are asking the public for help Tuesday in their search for a man who assaulted an elderly woman as she was watering her plants in the East Los Angeles area over the weekend.The victim was watering around 6:15 a.m. in the 1000 block of Fraser Avenue when she was approached from behind by the suspect, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.The suspect, believed to be a man in his 30s, repeatedly punched the woman in the face before pulling down her pants and underwear, the spokesperson said. A disabled man in a wheelchair was shot with a pellet gun and then mocked early Saturday morning in Pontiac, Michigan, and detectives are seeking the public’s help in finding the culprits.Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.According to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, the victim is a 30-year-old Pontiac man who was shot July 15 at 12:17 a.m. while he was on the sidewalk near the intersection of Bennett Street and Baldwin Road, heading toward a gas station.
